New Zealand Festival, Hōkioi me te Vwōhali

Exhale Dance Tribe will present a World Premiere of choreography by Lay-Zimmer, Hubbard and Artistic Director of Ōkāreka Dance Company, Taiaroa Royal, a NZ based Company. This special cultural exchange and collaboration has been a 4-year culmination celebrating the Animal Medicine and Mythology surrounding the Hōkioi (NZ Eagle, extinct) and the Golden Eagle of the Cherokee Indians (Cherokee, NC). Our Tribe is honored to have been invited to perform at the world-renowned New Zealand Arts Festival March 2020.
